State of the Union Address

I thought the "State of the Union" address was supposed to be about the "status" of America, eg. how the nation is doing. Not a reelection campaign speech.

The President’s presentation repeatedly used words like “fair” and “paying one’s fair share” in his eloquent attempt to make income redistribution and Big Government sound imminently reasonable and even quite logical.

His core message seemed to be…“Vote for me in November and I’ll usher in more wealth redistribution, more government subsidized services, more regulations and taxes on ‘wealthy’ people, more public works projects, more federal bureaucracies…in short, more socialism.”

“It’s time to apply the same rules from top to bottom.”

One of the most memorable phrases in the President’s address – and at the heart of his reelection campaign rhetoric – was his emphasis on building an America in which “everyone plays by the same set of rules.”

Does that apply to you and your administration, Mr. President?
Does that include your Attorney General?
Does that include your out-of-control Department of Justice?

Why can't we get rid of this guy? Get out and VOTE on Nov 06, 2012.
