I want to go on the record and say that Allen West is my personal hero in the area of politics. There really is no one like him. There's no one else with the leadership abilities, communications skills, and willingness to speak boldly to the lies of the DemonRATS.
At a Lincoln Day Dinner in West Palm Beach, Rep. West this is what he said:
"We need to let President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and my dear friend the chairman of the Democrat National Committee, we need to let them know that Florida ain't on the table. Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else. You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you an take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America!"
This is exactly the attitude that our leaders in Washington should have! America is the greatest country on the planet, and it's because of our way of life. Our principles of free market competition, limited government, and personal responsibility have created the most prosperous country in the history of the planet, and we don't have to stand here and listen to those on the left denigrate this great nation!
Thoughtsjustoffcenter: I would like to go on record too. We need more people like LTC Allen West to represent the people and tell them the hard truth. Note--I will probably always call him LTC West, as I consider his duty to this nation as a soldier a higher calling than serving in congress. Although, I respect him for doing both and carrying on a tradition of being forthright.
