Do you remember January 03, 2007?

Here is a small history lesson. I'm pulishing it for all, regardless of political party affiliation. I bet there are lots of people who won't read it - being afraid of the truth. Well, it's history and nothing can change it.

The day the Democratic Party took over the control of "both houses" of Congress was not January 22d, as some people believe. Nope, it was actually January 3d, 2007 when they too control of the House of Representative and the Senate - the very start of the 110th Congress.

The Democrats controll a majority in both chambers, for the first time since the end of the 103d Congress in 1995.

For those people that listen to and believe the fallacy that its all George Bush's fault - think about this:

On January 03, 2007, the day Democrats took charge of both chambers:

The DOW closed at 12,621.77;

The GDP for the prevous quarter was 3.5%;

George Bush's economic policies SET A RECORD OF 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS OF JOB CREATION!

Remember that day ---

That was the day that Senator Barney Frank took control the House Financial Services Committee and Senator Chris Dodd took control of the Senate Banking Committee.

Senator Barney Franks lover, Herb Moses, was the CEO of Fannie Mae!

Along those lines, the economic meltdown that happened 15-months later was in what part of the economy?

BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES! 

Thank you Democrats, especially Senator Barney Frank, for taking us from a 13,000 DOW; 3.5 GDP; and 4.6% Unemployment --- to this CRISIS bay, among many other things, dumping 5 to 6 Trillion dollars of toxic loan on the economy fromYOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES!

By the way, starting in 2001, President George Bush asked Congress, both chambers, 17 TIMES to investigate and stop Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac business risky practices, because they were taking financially risks that could endanger the US economy.

Represenative Barney Frank and Senator Chris Dodd, and their Democratic co-harts, blocked every request and attempt by the President for an audit of both agencies calling it a "Chicken Little Philosophy" --- although when the sky did fall, whom where they shaking their fingers at and attempting to blame.

AND who took the third highest pay-off from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?

Why - did you say/gues - Senator Barack Hussein Obama - you would be correct if you did.

AND who helped fight against an audit or reform of Fannie or Freddie?

Senator Barack Obama and the Democratic Congess - especially Senator Barney Frank.

So when someone tries to balme President George W. Bush and the Republicans - PLEASE remember January 03, 2007, the day the Democrats took over.

President Bush may have been in the car, but the Democrats were in charge of the gas pedal and the steering wheel, while they drove the US economy into the ditch.

Budgets do not come from the White Huose, although the President is required to submit his budget requirements, in the form of a budget, to Congress.

The Buget begins in the House of Representatives and is sent to the Senate for approval. They work out their differences and vote on the next years budget. Once it passes both chambers, the President then signs it into law.

Furthermore, the Democrats have controlled the budget process since that time.

That first year, 2007, they had to contend with President George Bush, which caused some compromise in spending, when he somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.

For 2009 though, Representaive Nancy Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid bypassed the the budget process and the President entirely by passing continuing relolution to keep the government running until Senator Barack Obama could take the over the Office of the President of the United States of America.

Where was Barack Obama during this time?

Why he was a member of the very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills and then he sighned the the omnibus bill as President to finish out 2009.

Lets remember what the deficits looked like during that period:

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets.

That budget, 2007, was the lowest in five years, and th fourth straight decline in deficit spending.

After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending and that includes Senator Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.

So if Senator Obama inheritied anything, he inherited it from himself.

"In a nutshell," what President Barack Obama is EALLY saying is - "I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th."

There is no way any of this will be widely publicized. Yet if you like, you can pass this one.

As said by someone else, "The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living ar outnumbered by those who vote a living for themselves."

ThoughtsjustoffCenter: I guess the Democrats are adapting Cheech and Chong's saying: "Facts, We don't need no stinking facts." My last thoughts on this entry: Don't be a "Lamb" - become informed - and as an American Citizen, do your civic duty - VOTE!
