Out of the hundreds of out-of-work employees, vendors, investors and other creditors in the bankruptcy of government-backed solar-panel maker Solyndra LLC, one name stands out: the California Democratic Party.
Why California Democrats would be creditor to a company that received more than a half-billion dollars in federal loans to build a solar-panel plant isn’t clear. Even party officials say they’re not sure. The California Democratic Party’s communications director, Tenoch Flores, said the organization was not owed “any funds in any form” by the California-based company. He said he was unclear why the party would be listed as a creditor in Solyndra’s bankruptcy filing.
According to campaign-finance records, Solyndra donated $7,500 to the California Democratic Party in October 2010. It’s legal in California for corporations to make donations. But that doesn’t explain why the company would identify the Democratic Party as a creditor in its bankruptcy filing a year later. A Solyndra spokesman did not respond to messages seeking more details about the filing.
ThoughtsjustoffCenter comments: A half-a-billion ($500,000,000) dollars in federal monies lost, do to an investment that the accountants/bean counters, behind the scenes, in both the Bush and Obama administrations, said was a very bad idea!

Viciously Attacking the Tea Party
It makes me sick to listen to the liberals on the left viciously attacking Tea Party. Especially the words of attack spoken against the Tea Party by members of the National Democratic Party and their caucuses. Those individuals should get an education by truly opening their minds and studying the various actions of the Democratic Party – throughout Americas history. Just maybe, with a little truthful knowledge, they will change their thought processes. At least I would hope so.
The Republication Party has its issues too, yet they do not viciously attack members of the opposition which such anti-radical statements and demagoguery.
No one within the Tea Party wants to see harm come to anyone. There may be some fluff written or spoken by a few idiots, yet I’m sure that the members take them aside and have a few sharp words with them on not acting decently towards others.
The political nastiness and pettiness that is happening within our political system is making me physically sick. The day-to-day nastiness of people is becoming just as bad, as an individual will flip you off as they cut you off in traffic.
This all makes me want to take my broken body back to the gym, get in shape, start practicing martial arts again, and just wait to blow my top. As of, at least 30-years ago, I think we at least had a healthy respect of trying to not get out butts kicked by watching what we said and how we reacted around people we didn’t know. There was a fear of consequences that many don’t have any more – and –
That fear and respect for other should be brought back.
Lastly, a historical note for you Democrats: The Republican Party is the political party that stood for, and voted for, the civil rights and the freedoms for the minorities that didn't have them. Do you homework please!
