Killing Lincoln, By Bill O'Rielly and Martin Dugard

I'm a person who reads a lot of historical accounts, "those who don't will make the same mistakes over and over," and this book was a joy to read. It read more like a novel, yet it used the history and activities of each individual, at the time, to make a very excellent read.

To bad they don't write more history books this way. Maybe our children will actually find out how great our nation has become, through the sacrifices of a few, that rip through the many degenerate and needy jerks that attempt to bring or country down.

(All the references, and references links to other information and web sites that can be found on the internet, can be found in the rear of the book .)

Thanks Mr. O'Rielly and Mr. Durgan! GREAT JOB!

Men In Black, by Mark Levin

Another book finished, and on to finish a couple of others. Yes - and start another by my him entitled: Liberty and Tyranny - A Conservative Manifesto.  Thanks Brad!

I've always known that I'm a conservative, with a few left leaning ideas, yet as I become more and more informed, I've realized that I'm almost a Libertarian. Although I really don't go that far - as there has to be some rules.

Anyway, if you haven't read the book, please do.

For those of you that believe the courts of our country should over-ride our State and US Constitution, you propably will not like the book, as you believe the people should be told what to do, instead of the people telling the government what to do.

Anyway off to feeding my brain.

Leadership & Self-deception, by The Arbinger Institute

No I'm not becoming touch-feely, or maybe I've always been - to a certain extent. This book is an excellent read about thinking outside the box. In our personal lives and in business.

It's almost like all the material we have to read and digest at the Sergeants Major Academy at Fort Bliss, TX. It's a good look at yourself and a way out of the box.

It was first published in 2000. They have expanded this, second edition, to enclude more for you to think about. The copy I have is in paperback.

So, are you in or out.

And for those of you who know me, YES, I got it from my wife, the love of my life!
